About Danny

Bio

Danny has been composing for over 15 years. After studying the piano from a young age and learning to perform, he learned to write his own music by experimenting with his high school choir. From there, his passion for composition ignited. After high school he set out to earn his bachelor’s degree in music from The Boston Conservatory and Berklee School of Music. He privately studied at those universities with composers Andy Vores, Jan Swafford, and Curtis Hughes(2008-2013).

After his college education he toured the Western US under the name RainbowBrain performing and writing electronic music. This interest in electronic music and music technology fueled his career in filmscoring and music production. After starting a job at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions(2017) in Santa Monica CA, he started his current position(2019) as a composer’s assistant to the award winning composer Jacob Shea.

Danny’s work can be heard in different media: TV, short films, podcasts, and various music libraries. His most recent work has been as a tech for Master Chef, Alaskan Bush People, Lego Masters, Children of the Corn(2021), and season 2 of the German crime drama Pagan Peak(2021). Danny is currently working on a video game in development called Where Beasts Were Born (https://where-beasts-were-born.com/) as well as various other exciting projects to be announced.
