Hello Future Music Student!
Are you ready to learn?
My name is Danny and I want to teach you how to make music. Whether you want to learn to play an instrument, to play multiple instruments, to create your own music, or to produce music on a professional level, I can teach you to get there in the way that works best for you.
After many years of studying music from countless professionals in private lessons, professional conservatory level educators, or master producers in the film industry, I am confident I can get you to reach your goals, and with today’s technology we can do it all online.
Instrument Lessons
I teach four main instruments: piano, guitar, bass guitar, and the ukulele. Why those? I’ve been playing them all for over 20 years because I’ve found them to be the easiest to learn, which makes them the most fun to teach. I’ve learned to play other instruments, but I have chosen to teach just these because I love them. You will too!
Music Production Lessons
I’ve been producing music for a long time now. After college I worked in a professional filmscoring studio as an intern, then worked my way up to a composition assistant before writing and teaching on my own. Check the about page to see some of my music. I have the knowledge and skill to teach you how to produce high quality music.
Music Theory Lessons
So you don’t want to just learn to play music, you want to truly understand how it works? Me too! I went to Boston Conservatory and Berklee School of Music as a composition major. I have the education to teach you and believe me, I love to geek out about how music works.
Why am I so confident I can teach you?
I have taught countless students of all ages to realize their goals and watched them as they learn to dream bigger than they have before. It’s all because they feel confident they will grow enough together to get there. I know you can do it too.
Learning Music Is Easier Now
Another reason why I’m confident in teaching is because we have so many useful tools to use. There are tons of resources available on the internet now and luckily all of them I have listed are FREE. Here is a page dedicated to the software I use for lessons, as well as software that I find super useful for learning!
